27. LORD INDRA REALIZES HIS OFFENSE

On seeing the wonderful act of Lord Muraari, Lord Indra realized His mistake and descended from the heaven. He realized that due to His false pride and fame, He forgot His spiritual master, Lord Krishna. Due to guiltiness, He appeared in front of Lord Krishna stealthily and surrendered unto His lotus feel. Lord Indra offered His prayers to Sri Bhagavan, "O Bhagavan! I never thought that You would come and live with the cowherd men. You are the God of mercy! How folly I was! I was in the state of material enjoyment. I thought that You were inferior to me. Being abolishing my worship, I was highly anger due to material pride and name. I thought that You were enjoying all the offerings done by the inhabitants of Vrindavan in the name of Govardhan puja. Please forgive Me God! Kindly shower Your mercy upon Me. I don't know anything other than Your lotus feet currently. Please bless Me God that I should not immerse into material prestige and pride".

Lord Indra descends from the heaven and surrendered unto the lotus feet of Lord Sri krishna

On hearing the prayers offered by Indra, Lord Muraari smiled magnificently and uttered, "My dearest Indra! Your are my student. A master usually wishes to make a student understand on what he or she lacks. I did the same thing to you. Due to the material world's effect, you were immersed in illusion or Maya. Henceforth you forgot My lordship. So, I wanted to make you realize My presence everywhere in the Universe". Lord Indra along with Surabhi (Kamadenu) were present in front of the supreme personality of Godhead. On seeing Lord Krishna, Surabhi from Vrindavan and heavenly planet offered prayers to Sri Krishna, "O our beloved God! You are the complete whole. You are the embodiment of mercy. You are the supreme controller of Maya (Maya Krishna) and the cosmic nature! You have protected my cows and calves inspite of Indra's cause of devastating rainfall. You made Him realize that who is a spiritual master". Having spoken all these to Lord Muraari, Surabhi bathed the supreme personality of Godhead with Her milk. The Demigods from the sky bathed Him with heavenly Ganges water.

The three heavenly worlds were overwhelmed with joy and Demigods danced with ecstasy. Due to the milk showering by Surabhi to Lord Krishna, the cows were so glad and flooded the whole earth with milk. The river flowed with milk and contained other milk beverages. The fruits and flowers from the trees were so fresh and began to pour sweetful honey. The wild animals also became soft. These events happened only because of the presence of Lord Muraari.
