 39. AKRURA'S VISION OF VISHNULOKA AND HIS PRAYERS

Akrura was sitting on the chariot and drove by Lord Krishna swiftly and reached river Yamuna to take bath so that all kinds of sins will be vanquished. Krishna and Balaram took bath in the river Yamuna and drank few drops of the sacred water. After that Akrura went into the water. He was half submerged and chanted Gayatri Mantra. When he was there in the river, he saw Lord Krishna and Lord Balaram in the water. He was amazed and immediately went out the water to confirm whether They were in the water or on the ground. He couldn't believe his eyes because when he came out of the river, he saw both Krishna and Balaram sitting beautifully on the chariot. Immediately once Akrura went into the river he had the vision of Adisesha wearing bluish garments and Lord Vishnu magnificently lying on Him. Akrura also saw prodigious devotees like Bhaktha Prahlad and Rishi Narada. He also had a glimpse on great sages, His associates and the four Kumaras, Sanaka, Sanandha, Sanadhana and Sanatkumara offering prayers to the Lord. Akrura also spotted the powerful Gods Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma. On seeing the gorgeous rupa of Mahavishnu, Akrura's body was shivered with ecstasy and his body resembled a statue. He commenced his prayers on the Supreme controller, Lord Vishnu.

                                                      Akrura uttered, "O adorable Lord! You are the entire knowledge of mercy and love! You are the ever residing Supersoul of all the living and non - living entities in the universe. You are the Maker of the three worlds! Each and every part of the Universe belongs to Your parts of the body. The closing and opening of Your eyes is the dark (night) and light (day). The two eyes of Yours is the Sun. The vision of Yours is Your grace to the creatures. The two ears of Yours are the different directions. The Ashwini Angels are the sharpness of Your nose. The lower lip of Yours are greed and upper lip of Yours are shy. The dazzling teeth of Yours are the stars! The smile of Yours resembles Maya. The tongue of Yours is the water. The words utter by You resembles a flock of birds. The mouth of Yours is the fire. The hands of Yours are the Devas. The chest of Yours are the Angels of Dharma. O lotus eyed Lord! Adharma and Maya are behind You! The mind of Yours is the moon. The heart of Yours is the beautiful lotus flower! The navel of Yours is the ocean! The Pitambara of Yours is the night and day time. The genital part of Yours is the Prajapathi. The nails of Your foot resembles elephant, horse and giraffe. The gait of Yours is the time! The beautiful face of Yours resembles lotus flower! The feet of Yours resembles the lotus flower. You have incarnated this avarata to shower causeless mercy to the Jivas! Every creature is Your part of parcel of Your body! Due to the fog of Maya, people have forgotten the relationship with You! How fool am I! Due to the Maya, I'm acting as a folly man without remembering You in my life! This magnificent rupa of Yours is to definitely reveal infinitestimal mercy upon me! Without remembering You, the people are constantly the three modes of material world and immersed in ignorance. Salutations and my respectful obeisance to Your twenty one incarnations! Every incarnation has a particular reason and I'm seeing Your magnificent rupa of Sri Krishna avatara! My dear Lord! let people have Your blessings forever! As You are the Paramatma, who indwells in every being's heart, kindly bless me too!".
