11. THE INHABITANTS OF GOKULA ARRIVING VRINDAVAN
One day, Krishna and Balaram were playing with other boys since early morning. As it was lunch time, mother Yashoda sent mother Rohini to call the two charming pies. When mother Rohini called Krishna and Balaram, They didn't respond as They were very much attached to mother Yashoda due to Her immense love. As mother Rohini was unable to bring Them back, she sent mother Yashoda to call Them. Mother Yashoda with much affection called the two supreme Gods to come back to home. She also told that Nanda Maharaja was still waiting for their arrival. Generally Nanda Maharaja and the two supreme Gods used to eat together. On hearing mother's voice Krishna and Balaram started to return from playing. The other boys complained, "These two boys hadn't completed the playing and now They started to return to their home. We will definitely not allow them". So, Krishna and Balaram without returning back to home, They joined with those boys to play again. But They both had fear. Mother Yashoda scolded the other boys and the two charming Children, " Krishna and Balaram are not street boys. They are my children. Just see the amount of dust accumulated in their body. Their body became dirt as they are playing since early morning. But you boys are neatly dressed and wearing ornaments too". Thus mother Yashoda brought her two children, bathed Them and dressed Them beautifully. She decorated Them with ornaments as it was the birthday of sri Krishna. Both Nanda Maharaja and Yashoda invited veda knowing brahmins and conducted the birthday ceremony. Through little Krishna, She gave many cows in charity to the brahmins.
Meantime, there was a cow-heard man named Upananda who was the well-wisher of Gokula came up with people of vraja and arrived Nanda Maharaja's house. The leader Upananda began to address, "My respected Nanda Maharaja and my dear friends! Since our village Gokula is unsafe to live, we shall depart from here. Our children, Krishna and Balaram are continuously disturbed by many demons whose interest to kill the small children. Our child has immense grace of Lord Narayana. And so He was rescued from wicked Putana, the cart demon, Sakatasura and the whirlwind demon, Trinavarta. Fortunately, our Children hadn't met with even a small injury. Just consider the recent incident of the twin trees fell. So, i suggest to leave this place immediately if you people agree. we will go to Vrindavan which is filled with fresh lands, pasture lands and the great Govardhana hills and the beautiful Yamuna river is also located there". The people agreed to the well wisher's saying and departed from Gokula after packing all their house hold things. People sang the deeds of lord Krishna and Balaram while travelling to Vrindavan. Lord Krishna, Lord Balaram saw the great Govardhana hills, the beautiful banks of river Yamuna and became overwhelmed with joy. After reaching there, they started to construct for living in Vrindavan. The inhabitants felt much elate in constructing residents nearby river Yamuna and Govardhan hill.
