One day, Lord krishna and Lord Balaram along with other cowherd boys were taking their group of calves to a reservoir of water, allowing the calves to drink water. After the calves drank water, the cowherd boys also had water. They imitated the sounds made by peacocks and monkeys. They would sometimes look their faces on the lakes and would laugh to the extreme core. Both Krishna and Balaram took charge of the cowherd and would return after the completion of all works.
Meanwhile, the maternal uncle of Lord Krishna and Lord Balaram called a crane demon named "Bakasura". That gigantic bodied crane demon was a friend of Kamsa. Kamsa ordered him to kill Lord Krishna, the Supreme Lord. The crane demon Bakasura was the brother of demoness Putana. Bakasura was very angry on Lord Krishna as He was the slayer of his sister. So, Bakasura wanted to take a revenge on the Lord. He reached Vrindavan where Lord Krishna was present. The body of the demon was gigantic. His eyes were filled with wicked nature of demon. His upper beak was touching the high upto sky and his lower beak was touching the ground. The cowherd boys on seeing the demon resembling a form of a crane having sharp and hard beak, they became afraid and began to escape from its trap. The cowherd boys ran in a hurry to save their lives. They called the names of Krishna to save them from the evil demon. The demon Bakasura with his pointed large beaks immediately attacked Lord Krishna and swallowed Him up. As soon as the demon swallowed sri krishna, Lord Balaram and other boys were almost breathless and they thought that Krishna was died. Timely, the demon felt burning sensation in his throat that was because of the glowing radiance of the supreme Godhead. The demon couldn't resist the burning sensation and instantly threw Krishna. When Lord came out of the demon's mouth, Bakasura again tried to kill Him with his sharpened beaks.
Lord Krishna with His unbeatable strength tightly caught hold of the demon's beak and tore them apart into pieces like a blade of grass. Bakasura immediately died. The cowherd boys hugged Lord Krishna and Lord Balaram with huge joy and praised the supreme personality of Godhead. As soon as Lord Krishna killed the demon Bakasura, the Gods and Goddesses rained flowers on Krishna and Balaram endlessly. The cowherd boys wondered and narrated this incident to Nanda Maharaja and Mother Yashoda.
CONCLUSION:
The evil minded demons used to think that they are the supreme of the entire Universe. Those demons always used to take revenge on others and thereby kill the people. Lord Krishna incarnated in this world to demolish the evil and to restore peace in the world. As He took the incarnation as a human being, He taught how a person can live with unbeatable confidence, fearlessness, devotion, love and friendship. In this story, when Bakasura tried to attack Lord Krishna, He was fearless as He had an unbeatable faith on Him. He was so determined to restore peace in this world. Therefore, one must attain His consciousness through out His life for their self realization.
